Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers, railcars, and delivery trucks in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as directed.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections and maintenance on forklifts.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and material handling best practices.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
