Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently in a high-volume warehouse setting.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to designated storage areas accurately.
- Perform daily pre-shift forklift inspections and maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock rotation (FIFO).
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily targets.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse floor to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a professional warehouse.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and comprehend shipping labels and orders.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Valid driver's license (Class B or equivalent).
