Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to move, stack, count, and retrieve materials safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and organized according to warehouse protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are correct through cycle counting.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily for safety issues and report any mechanical problems immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (CDL Class A/B is a plus, but we offer training for qualified candidates).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not mandatory.
