Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods in warehouse setting
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on forklifts daily to ensure optimal performance
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times
- Accurately document inventory movements and maintain warehouse organization
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
- Assist in receiving, stacking, and organizing materials efficiently
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse processes
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) or willingness to obtain immediately
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional overtime
