Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
- Load/unload trucks and organize inventory in designated storage areas
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to optimize loading/unloading operations
- Assist with general warehouse housekeeping and safety compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience (certification preferred)
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain immediately
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation to Richmond, VA location
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
