Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely to move, load, and unload materials
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Collaborate with warehouse team to organize inventory and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operational standards
- Support cross-functional departments during peak inventory periods
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards to supervisors
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within first week)
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse/forklift experience
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Reliable transportation to industrial areas
