Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on forklifts, report any issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in inventory control by scanning and tracking products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one quickly).
- Previous experience as a forklift operator is preferred but not required for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to train.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
