Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to organize storage areas and optimize space utilization
- Accurately document inventory movements and maintain detailed records
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Assist in inventory counts and quality control inspections
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
