Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate various forklifts, including sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers.
- Material Handling: Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage racks with speed and accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse workspace (5S standards).
- Inventory Support: Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and accurate order picking.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator license (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
