Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that inventory is moved efficiently and safely. You will work closely with our logistics team to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure machinery safety.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse floor.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating a forklift (1-2 years preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
