Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform daily safety checks before use.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and tagging items correctly.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to organize stock and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Assist in the packaging and palletizing of goods for shipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
