Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-operational inspections on forklifts to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding warehouse safety and traffic flow.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment, picking, packing, and scanning products.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring aisles and work areas are free of debris.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff regarding inventory levels and job priorities.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
