Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to ensure optimal workflow.
- Load and unload shipments from trailers, railcars, and shipping docks with speed and accuracy.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist in inventory control, stock rotation, and accurate documentation of stock movements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CDL Class A/B preferred, but training available for qualified candidates).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and operating heavy machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety compliance.
- Valid driver's license (required for driving forklifts on public roads).
