Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure machinery is in safe, working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company standards.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipping using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize inventory flow and reduce processing times.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety protocols and warehouse safety procedures.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
