Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and retrieve merchandise efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is handled with care and placed in designated areas.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and logging materials.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on concrete surfaces.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and maneuver in tight spaces.
