Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse and loading dock.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues before operation and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock according to company protocols.
- Ensure the safety of the workspace by adhering to OSHA regulations and identifying potential hazards.
- Collaborate with team leads to streamline logistics processes and improve efficiency.
- Perform daily cleaning and organization of the warehouse floor to maintain a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification (required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
