Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport items using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all labels and documentation are accurate.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before distribution.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and familiarity with barcode scanners are a plus.
