Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklift equipment for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels through cycle counting.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols, including wearing protective gear and adhering to traffic lanes.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline the shipping and receiving process.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
