Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to company policies.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement corrective actions to minimize shrinkage.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in warehouse operations and implement strategies to optimize workflow and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the routine maintenance and inspection of forklifts and warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and MS Office Suite.
- Certification: Forklift certification and/or OSHA 10/30 training is highly desirable.
- Leadership: Strong ability to communicate effectively and lead a diverse team under pressure.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
