Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks before each shift.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock levels in the warehouse management system.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping processes.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging inventory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
