Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and dock areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks before starting shifts.
- Accurately document inventory movements and stock levels using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient workflow.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including packing, labeling, and order picking as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (required).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting (minimum 1 year).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and proper lifting techniques.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
