Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment adhering to OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff regarding inventory needs.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
- Follow all company policies regarding safety and quality control.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (CPLP or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
