Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments with precision.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and operational readiness.
- Organize inventory, stock rooms, and pallet yards to maintain optimal workflow and safety standards.
- Verify incoming and outgoing stock against purchase orders, scanning items accurately into the inventory system.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering strictly to OSHA and company safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in varying temperatures.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety-first practices.
