Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts and machinery for any safety defects or mechanical issues before operation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is properly organized in the warehouse.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet production deadlines.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the work area to ensure a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
