Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and organizing stock according to established protocols.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the work area to ensure a clutter-free environment.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid, unexpired Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a professional warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
