Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and locate merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers in a timely manner to maintain inventory flow.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and safety equipment to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and log daily movements.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity targets and shipping schedules.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred but not required.
