Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and stock levels using warehouse management software.
- Ensure the workspace is clean, organized, and compliant with all OSHA safety regulations.
- Inspect forklift equipment for any mechanical issues and perform routine safety checks before starting shifts.
- Collaborate with team leads and inventory managers to streamline workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy items and operating heavy machinery.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift operator certification (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Basic computer skills are a plus but not required.
