Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Ensure the safe and accurate movement of pallets, skids, and heavy machinery according to safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper operation.
- Manage inventory control by scanning items, verifying quantities, and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Collaborate with team leads to streamline workflow and meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace, strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA) with valid license or ability to pass a skills assessment on-site.
- Proven experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts (reach trucks, clamp trucks, etc.) preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention.
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
