Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move products within the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all machinery to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and tagging products as they enter or exit the warehouse.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines, company policies, and standard operating procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team leads and logistics coordinators to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient warehouse flow.
- Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of debris to prevent accidents and maintain professional standards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift certification (Class A or B preferred).
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
