Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and stage pallets of merchandise for shipping and distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and reconciling discrepancies.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure machinery is in proper working order.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to minimize workplace accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the warehouse aisles clear and organized to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (Forklift Certified).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts (Reach Truck, Forklift, Pallet Jack) is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions, read labels, and maintain accurate records.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
