Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks and shipping containers.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and organizing stock to maximize warehouse efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols, wear required PPE, and report hazards immediately.
- Material Handling: Move pallets and heavy equipment efficiently within the warehouse floor while minimizing damage.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and walk on uneven surfaces.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (not strictly required).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required for warehouse transport.
