Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and stock levels using warehouse management software.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily productivity targets.
- Keep the warehouse aisles and work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to work weekend shifts and flexible hours as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
