Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area in strict accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Inspect forklift equipment for any mechanical issues and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and accurate stock placement.
- Perform routine inventory counts and document discrepancies accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and safety checks.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
