At Pacific Coast Logistics, we pride ourselves on operational excellence and safety. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse and yard, ensuring that our supply chain remains uninterrupted.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload materials from trailers, trucks, and railcars with precision and speed.
- Perform daily pre-operational inspections on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock in designated storage areas.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE and maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and occasional overtime during peak seasons.
