Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials and products.
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo security and proper weight distribution.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts and stock organization to maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Packaging: Properly package items for shipment using appropriate materials and techniques.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL Class B is a plus but not always required).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documents.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime on weekends.
