Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Inspect forklifts and warehouse equipment before use to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Verify inventory counts and accurately document stock movements in the warehouse management system.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous forklift operation experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Strong ability to read and understand safety labels, pallet labels, and shipping documents.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory software is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
