Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pallet Handling: Properly stack and organize pallets using shrink wrap and banding to ensure stability during transit.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and ensure all stock is accurately reflected in our inventory management system.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipping in a timely manner to meet customer deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current OSHA forklift certification (Class 1) is required.
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.
