Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and equipment maintenance checks to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and reconciling stock levels against warehouse management systems.
- Organize and stack pallets safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and stability.
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Clean work areas, including floors and equipment, to maintain a tidy and professional environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must be provided at time of hire).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and understand safety labels, shipping orders, and inventory lists.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
