Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload freight, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
- Organize and maintain a clean, clutter-free warehouse environment in strict accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Verify inventory counts and accurately document stock movements using warehouse management software.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
