Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stack merchandise onto pallets using forklifts and hand jacks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing stock against records, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-operation inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 or equivalent) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts or reach trucks.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Remote-Friendly: Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing warehouse demands.
