Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and stack materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and report any defects to management immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and logging stock as it enters or leaves the warehouse.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials and workplace safety.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
