Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and Unload Freight: Efficiently handle inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and safety during transport.
- Inventory Control: Utilize RF scanners and handheld devices to verify stock counts and update warehouse management systems.
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by retrieving items from shelves and preparing them for shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- No Experience Necessary: We welcome candidates with no prior forklift experience.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and shipping labels accurately.
