Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure workplace for yourself and your team.
- Organize and stock inventory accurately using warehouse management systems.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area to comply with OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CDL is a plus but not always required).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
