Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Inspect machinery for safety hazards before operation and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and tagging stock appropriately.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and adheres to OSHA safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Perform general warehouse duties such as packaging, labeling, and order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Brooklyn facility.
