Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform daily maintenance checks on forklifts and warehouse machinery
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Assist with warehouse organization and proper stacking of materials
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation to night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 3:30 AM)
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
