Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse and loading dock areas.
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure safe operation.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently.
- Manage inventory and assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain one quickly).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work weekends.
- Basic math skills for inventory management.
