Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport goods between storage, production, and shipping areas
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company material handling procedures
- Collaborate with night shift supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency
- Stack and organize pallets in designated storage zones with proper labeling
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and cross-docking operations
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail in inventory documentation
- Flexibility to work 11 PM - 7 AM schedule with weekend availability
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
