Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up) to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse environment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment before/after shifts
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols including proper stacking and load balancing
- Collaborate with night shift team to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Document daily activities and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
- Support cross-functional tasks as needed to maintain workflow continuity
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management skills
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and ability to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
