Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a high-volume warehouse environment
- Load/unload trucks and pallets with precision using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and report equipment issues immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Assist with warehouse cleanliness and organization standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience (sit-down/stand-up)
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and ability to work independently on night shift
