Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check, count, and record inventory levels using handheld scanners or WMS systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare and stage orders for shipment according to customer requirements and priority levels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any maintenance issues with machinery immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery (Forklift) in a warehouse setting.
- Certification: Possession of a valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Focus: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to use radio systems or headsets.
